Solarfective products are the standard in Class A office buildings and commercial high-rise condominiums. They are used for a variety of shading solutions for solar control applications, for privacy, as projection screens, as carriers of printed images and space definition. All mechanical and architectural components of our products are inspected, assembled and pretested in our facility before they are shipped to the project site.
COMMERCIALLY HEAVY DUTY QUALITY
A symmetrical PVC mounted bracket with 2 ¾” sprocket design allows chain to be, at either or both ends of the shade. Solarfective tubes are made of aluminum, keeping the fabric from tracking and being torn by the clutch which happens with steel tubes.
ONSITE FLEXIBILITY
The spring can be adjusted from the outside, without having to disassemble the unit. In addition, the chain can be easily relocated from one end to the other, while in the field, without disassembly of shades or removal of unit, for future reconfiguration. Solarfective uses chains that are high grade stainless steel, with a 90 lbs. test.
QUALITY CONTROL
Solarfective shades are delivered to the jobsite as a “cassette.” They are fabricated in the factory and not assembled in the field. All our shades are identical in pull-up tension.
25 YEAR WARRANTY
Since quality control is taken care of in the factory, Solarfective is the only shade manufacturer who includes the chain in our warranty (no attic stock required).
EASE OF OPERATION
All shades are pretested and fully assembled at the factory and chains have the same “two-finger” approach to pull-up and pull-down.
INSTALLATION
Since Solarfective shades come to the job site preassembled, we can install five manual TeleShades™ in the time it takes other manufactures to install one.
RECESSED ABOVE CEILING
Using Televent™ details there is no need for a drywall/metal pocket that cost about $35.00 per linear foot. Because we do not use a continuous pocket, the hot air trapped between the glass and the shade band vents into the plenum.
HEMBAR OPERATION
Solarfective shades can be operated by pulling the hembar down which is a safety feature for small children and in office room settings.
FABRIC QUALITY
All of our fabrics are supplied by Phifer Incorporated, the largest shade fabric manufacturer in the world. They have state of the art looms, which produce the best quality shade material available on the market. Phifer can match almost any of our competitor’s fabric.
EASE OF REMOVAL
Only flat head screwdriver required for removal of unit.
MOTORIZED SHADES
Up to six shade bands can be controlled from one motor using Solarfective motorized shade products. We can interface with any AV system.
